Magical Child

I figure that there are so many sound bytes in this book entitled Magical Child that fit in perfectly with what we are all about 'round here that we should start a new thread all about it.  The ramifications of living without anxiety, in accordance with the laws of nature are staggering.  What could we be, and what could our children be if we did not put up road blocks to developement?

It's a beautiful and at the same time baffling book, (it always baffles me how someone could get so close to the truth and misinterpret the rest!) Still, at least it baffled me enough to get off my ass and try to put the rest in...
Chapter 7 is the summary really I thought? It sounds corny and a bit cosmic but there really is a shortage of love among current humanity, poor things, and it probably won't pass in our lifetime, but that's no reason not to recognize the love that there IS  :  )
Could you please clue us in on the parts that Pierce misinterpreted.  It exciting the way researchers get some of it correct and then people in the future can read it and make corrections to the errored bit and so on and so on until we get it perfect.  Then later it gets even more precise.smile

Re: Magical Child

Hi dude,
Main complaints, his whole interpretation is shot through with woo-woo. ESP, telepathy, spoon bending, fire walking, life after death woo-woo. And not only is none of it necessary but it detracts from the seriousness and the genuinely awesome magic of the facts hidden in the woo woo.
He doesn't recognize 6 matrices, and he doesn't understand the unconscious very well (or he'd recognize most of the woo woo can be attributed to it.
The further on you go in the book, the more woo woo creeps in. It's quite bizarre!  :  )
